5 more weeks....

This weekend we decided to drive up to our cabin. It's triple digits in Phx. Usually we invite friends to come along but Gary suggested we make it a romantic weekend for two. How sweet. I felt generous enough to offer to bring our cat Ayla along. She hasn't gone on a road trip with us for years, hopefully she won't freak about being in strange surroundings.

Reality is setting in...

I just found out my audit assignments for this year. The first leg will mean 9 weeks away from home! Whatever happened to the average 3-4 weeks they told me about?! G & I discussed meeting each other in Amsterdam during my 2 week hiatus in Dusseldorf. Neither of us have been there. Spain is another option.....
